  • Just a note to clarify...

    In listening to this interview I notice that I did not clearly distinguish between Indymedia as in the Independent media Center or IMC indymedia.org and Indy Media as in Independent media on the net in general.

    The Bolivian struggle in 2000 over water issues was covered by independent media on the net but I do not know for sure if it was covered by IMC as IMC was still starting out at that time after it's success in Seattle during the WTO protests.

    More recently the struggles of the Bolivian people against the privatization and outsourcing of natural gas to transnational corporations has been covered extensively on IMC especially IMC Bolivia - bolivia.indymedia.org.
